Unit A Facility Visitation
Visitation at Unit A of Stevens Correctional Center is by SCHEDULING ONLY.
Visits are requested by inmates on or before the 20th of the previous month prior to the visit.
EXAMPLE: Visits for May will be requested no later than April 20th.
Visitation takes place on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 8:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
Visitation is limited to four (4) hours per visit.
Visitors MUST BE pre-approved by the facility.
NOTICE
Four (4) VISITORS PER INMATE
(2 Adult + 2 Child)
Visitors are required to be at the facility thirty (30) minutes prior to their scheduled visitation time.
This allows the facility the time needed to complete the process of sign in’s and seating assignments of the visitors.
Visitors are required to have a picture ID along with one other forms of identification as well as the registration of the vehicle in which they arrived in.
(ID’s include…Driver’s License, Birth Certificate, Passport, Voter’s Registration, Military ID)
APPROPRIATE DRESS IS REQUIRED
NO shorts
NO sleeveless shirts, all shirts must have at least 1/4 sleeve.
NO tight fitting clothing
NO see through clothing
Undergarments will be worn
(No underwire bras)
NO dresses above the knee
NO tube tops or halter tops
NO midriff shirts
No cologne, perfume, body oil/scents or powders are allowed.
NO VISITOR WILL BE ALLOWED TO ACCEPT OR PASS ANYTHING TO THE INMATES AT ANY TIME
NO FOOD WILL BE ALLOWED IN THE VISITATION AREA
ALL VALUABLES AND PERSONAL PROPERTIES SHOULD BE LEFT IN YOUR VEHICLES OR WILL HAVE TO BE CHECKED IN ALONG WITH VEHICLE KEYS.
CHILD VISITATION RULES
ITEMS PERMITTED:
One (1) clear baby bottle or one (1) “sippy” cup, containing milk or juice only
One (1) baby blanket
Diapers and any other accessories will be secured in the Control Room.
